cried like crazy after watching 'a beautiful mind' yest? goodness, it's really tough overcome schzophrenia n even tougher for the family members.

remember i went to some place for the mentally ill when i took SW1101E. it was sucha great experience! i got to interact with the pple n we had a great time talking. one auntie said something like i should go to her house cos' there were some robbers blah n i had to take her attention away by talking about something else (this was wad the person in charge say we should do). one of the stories they accounted was unforgettable. one of them who had recovered from mental illness said she once saw beansprouts dancing in her bowl of fishball noodles. hmm, most impt, i realised that there is NOTHING wrong with them like n we shdnt discriminate against them. of course it doesnt help with the exaggeration and reinforcing of stereotypes of the mentally ill in media. they r just different n there is nothing wrong with being different. it is an illness and can be controlled by medication. it is due to the chemical imbalance in the head and apart from that they are very much like us. n it can happen to ANYBODY!!! even the smartest person on earth, even u, even me.

bleh, anw had alot of fun with kailin today when studying. maybe both of us were too stressed up we started playing with mr bao ji wan n she started sobbing n telling me her story of her being a porn star and having a daughter who is lazy and unmotivated to study! haa crap! n all her talks on planning guilly camp got me really excited (: though i noe i'll be real tired cos of the audition on the 2nd day of camp. n i doubt i'll be sleeping the day before..
